PANTONE 2020 COLOR: CLASSIC BLUE

My favorite thing about the beginning of the year after the new years eve hangover and resolutions ultimately fall by the waist side is Pantone’s annual announcement of their color of the year. Their trendsetting forecast influences every facet of arts and culture and this year is no different. Classic Blue is the first color of the era, a familiar calming, classic and regal.

So with this new color upon us I instantly wanted to put together my favorite color schemes to coordinate with Classic Blue!

Pantone’s annual color finds itself permeating into fashion, home furnishings, industrial design, as well as product, packaging and graphic design so I decided I’d put a list together of my favorite Classic Blue products!

Coming from the wallcovering industry myself I would be remiss not to include Calico’s Night in Aubergine (more of a classic blue than eggplant in my opinion!) They are definitely on the narrow side so you won’t have as much space as a typical larger fridge but I am of the school of buying fresh more often.
